Waterlooville Motor Cycle Club’s recent activity has focused on The Old Fossils Run, a charity Classic Bike road run, previously the known as The Gales Run see pictures, In May 2011 they held their first Classic to Modern Motorbike Show. They also have run outs most Sundays and meet on Wednesdays at the Forest of Bere in Denmead from 8.30pm. Traditionally a large club running many Trials, Moto X and social events, including national and international events. Best known in Trials for The Hoad, a mighty road Trial held on a Saturday, it attracted an entry from across the country. Members of other Clubs who helped with running of these Trials would be invited to the prestigious Club Annual Dinner, a grand affair with famous speakers, entertainers and a mighty award ceremony, the table of awards would run the length of the room. Waterlooville Motor Cycle Club has always had a strong social side and in 2003 they celebrated the club’s 75th year with a magnificent gathering, with many members and friends of the Club in attendance and a wonderful display of classic motorcycles and club memorabilia. Waterlooville MCC no longer run Trials, but are active with road runs and meetings, see this web site.
